Needed extra wire to expand our fencing. Work perfectlyThe wire is great just like the last time I purchased it. Terrible packaging caused the spool to break during shipping. It will be a nightmare to unravel this mess. The copper wire is *extreme*ly thin. So much so that, using about 300 ft of wire, the wire impedance prevented sufficient signal for my robot mower to detect the perimeter wire. Using about 60 ft of wire the mower could detect the signal, but not 300, let alone 500 ft. For the sake of performance and also durability, get a higher gauge wire. The strength and durability of this wire is laughable. It pulls apart like silly string. If someone gave me this product as a gift I would assume they hate me and want me to suffer.Laying down this wire was horribly frustrating because it broke probably every 20 feet before I gave up on it. If I could I would give it zero stars. In fact this product is so bad that if it ships to your home inside a box with another product, that product will probably break too.I would recommend going back in time and un-making whatever stupid company formed in order to sell this worthless junk on amazon. There's a chance this product is sold as part of a terrorist plot to weaken the will of the people who buy it.I just can't say how much I hate this product. We haven't had it for a year and it already snapped underground. We have no idea how because nowhere around there does the yard get stepped on or driven on. But at the same time after a quick fix this is extremely effective! With a Hound who wants to wander and is very stubborn and bringing a German Shepherd follow the Hound everywhere she went ? this was the perfect solution for us. She was chasing cattle and biting them (not our cattle mind you). It got to the point where we had to either get rid of her or put up this fence. I believe it is Humane you don't have to use the shock, but if the shock is what it takes to let her know where is safe, I found nothing wrong with it. And now it's wonderful we are at the point where she doesn't need the shock she knows where the boundary is and we are finally able to enjoy our dogs!Easy to install. Works great! Once they learn the boundaries you can cut the power off!Dog fence wire, and it’s pretty tough. It did break when the trenching tool pulled it, but a quick solder joint and it was back in business. It laid across the driveway for a week until we got the right blade and time to run it under the driveway. It survived three vehicles driving over it for that week.I have two type of wires. The one that came with the whole dog electric fence set and this one. This one has not snapped unlike the other one and the core wire is much thicker than the other one.
